Vertical Stack

Riot, US Nationals 2016

Riot create a lot of space with their vertical stack, allowing them to be patient and only strike when the circumstances are right.

Fury, US Nationals 2016 (4)

I love this little move to isolate a defender; it's really tough to stop without opening yourself up to another area of attack. This particular example is really well executed because the initial throw leads to the cutter facing downfield, making the continuation pass even easier.

Revolver, US Open 2015

In this clip, we see Revolver start in a horizontal stack on the brick. After breaking the mark, they move down the break side of the field in a side stack, scoring in flow utilising a series of isolated cutters. Note that the transition to side stack is a natural process caused by offensive players moving away from the disc, therefore ensuring that as the disc moves down one side of the field, the players are stacked up on the other.
