Downfield Lateral cut by Brummie
3+
This simple pattern is deceptively difficult to execute, but can generate power position as well as providing a reset opportunity
Setup
A handler, A, starts with the disc in the middle of the field, marked by D1. A cutter, B, stands 10m downfield, facing A.
Rotation
D1 > A > B
Step 01
- B begins facing A
- D1 checks the disc in
- B cuts laterally
- A throws an outside-in curve into space for B to run on to; see The Ideal Reception

Tips
Brummie says:
The trick is to ensure that the flight path is curved so that the disc is well in front of the receiver; see Lateral Cutting
