Break Under to Open Lateral by Brummie
When a cutter doesn't get the disc on the break side, turning laterally provides an excellent reset option
A handler, A, starts with the disc in the middle of the width of the field, marked by D1. A cutter, B, starts 5-10m downfield of A.
D1 > A > B
- B cuts underneath to the break side
Brummie says:Move the marker by faking the around break first; this also helps to communicate to B when they should turn
You can throw a variety of passes here; some teams favour a push pass and an aggressive forwards pivot, others prefer to step away from the mark and throw a curved pass shown here. Experiment with different options.
