Break Under, or then Open Lateral by Brummie
This drill provides a second cutting option if B is not able to get open on their first cut.
A handler, A, starts with the disc in the middle of the width of the field, marked by D1. A cutter, B, starts 5-10m downfield of A.
D1 > A > B
Try moving D1 by faking the around break first to give yourself more space to throw
Be sure to turn off the outside foot when cutting laterally (in this example it would be the right foot) to ensure that you are able to maintain eye contact with the thrower throughout
Adding this kind of real-time decision making helps to keep defenders honest, while also developing chemistry between thrower and receiver
