Expand your throwing toolbox with new release points, better balance, faster execution and reliable overheads, so you can keep completing throws when defenders apply pressure.

Most players stop improving once they can throw a comfortable backhand and forehand. They spend years relying on the same release points, the same footwork and the same solutions. It works in simple situations, but as defenders improve those options quickly disappear.

This course provides a structured pathway for expanding your throwing skills. You’ll learn how to throw from wider release points, stay balanced in awkward positions, release the disc more quickly after catching and build reliable hammer and scoober techniques that transfer to real games.

  • Develop a wider range of release points
  • Improve balance and body control while throwing
  • Speed up your catch-to-throw transition
  • Learn reliable hammer fundamentals
  • Learn reliable scoober fundamentals
  • Become a more versatile thrower with more solutions under pressure
Learn the details that make a scoober game ready

What will you be able to do?

  • Throw around defenders more consistently
  • Release the disc before the mark is fully established
  • Stay balanced when throwing from difficult positions
  • Attack spaces you couldn’t reach before
  • Use overheads confidently when they are the best option

  • Common mistakes explained and corrected
  • Challenge questions to help players reflect after every lesson
  • Coaching prompts to support player learning and self-assessment
  • Designed for real game situations, not isolated drills
