Peppermills are one example of simultaneous cutting patterns which allow two cutters to work in unison to create space for each other, while providing lots of realistic throwing opportunities in a short space of time.

The idea is to place themselves on either side of the thrower, allowing the thrower to attack both sides of the field simultaneously, while making cutting shapes that cross the thrower laterally, meaning that cuts come from left to right and from right to left.
