US Nationals 2025 saw a return to huck-heavy offences, in contrast to the handler dominated patterns of recent years. While we can never know exactly what defensive strategy a team is employing at any given time, it is probably fair to say that no defence wants to allow their opponent to score in a few simple passes and walk off the field in under 30 seconds. As offences lean more on deep throws, so defenders need to tighten up their deep defence; here are some simple mistakes to avoid as a defender.
