Peppermills 3 on 3
This mini-game helps to teach coordination of cutting option when running peppermills
A handler, A, starts near the middle of the field marked by D1. Two cutters, B and C, stand as though in a horizontal stack, approximately 10m downfield from A and around 8m apart. They are guarded by D2 and D3 respectively.
D1 > A > D2 > B > D3 > C
Brummie says:There are a lot of options with this drill. I suggest practicing without defence to start with, and have all players comfortable with the pre-requisite patterns and throws. In addition, you might want to reduce the number of options available, or remove defence entirely, until your offensive players are familiar with how to run the offence.
