Open, or then Away by Brummie

This drill provides a second cutting option if B is not able to get open on their first cut.
Setup:
A handler, A, starts with the disc in the middle of the width of the field, marked by D1. A cutter, B, starts 5-10m downfield of A, guarded by D2.
Rotation:
D1 > A > B
Step 1

- B cuts underneath to the open side
- If thrown under Go to step 2
- If not, throw inside deep Go to step 3
- Alternatively throw around deep Go to step 4

Try moving D1 by faking the around break first to give yourself more space to throw
V-cuts feature a sharp change of direction, and are ideal for shaking off defenders. Ensure that you sprint the cut underneath and practice planting hard before turning and accelerating away
Adding this kind of real-time decision making helps to keep defenders honest, while also developing chemistry between thrower and receiver
