Inside Throw to Lateral Cut by Brummie
This drill helps to train your players in breaking the mark to lateral cutters
A handler, A, starts with the disc in the middle of the field, marked by D1. A cutter, B, stands 2-10 metres downfield of A, near the sideline.
D1 > A > B
- A throws to B cutting laterally towards the break side; note that the throw doesn't need to be against the mark, so long as the momentum of B takes them onto the break side.
Brummie says:Throw early; do not wait for the cutter to behind the mark. There is no point risking breaking the mark if you do not need to.
Pivot forwards to reduce the distance of the throw and also to prevent the marker from stopping the pass
