A handler, A, starts with the disc near the sideline. A reset, B, stands 5-8m away, perpendicular to the sideline.

Throw into space with a slight curve and a lot of sit; if well-executed, this throw should leave B facing downfield, making continuation throws to the far sideline easier. When practicing, see how far downfield you can lead B. You can also use this move in the centre of the field.
It is important that A steps out as though they were going to throw to B; in this example, the thrower would step out for a backhand (right-handed) or forehand (left-handed). This prepares the thrower for when there is a marker.
